We collect the data you enter when activating and using a SOSMee device to facilitate help in emergencies or loss:
Identification: name, surname, photo (optional).
Contact: phones, email, address.
Health (optional): blood type, allergies, and relevant conditions.
Habitual residence / reference location: when you add it to the profile (for Google Maps).
Pets or objects: name, notes, owner contact, message or reward.
Technical: IP and basic browser data when using the site (for security and metrics).
2. Purpose of processing
We use your data exclusively to:
- Show the emergency profile after an NFC/QR scan.
- Allow third parties to contact you (call or WhatsApp) to assist or return.
- Show relevant medical data to emergency personnel if included.
- Improve service security and operation.
3. Who can see your information
Your information is shown only to the person scanning the device. We do not index these profiles in search engines and they are not public without a scan.
4. Data retention
- We retain data while the device remains active in your account.
- You can edit or delete your profile at any time from the dashboard.
- When deleting it, data is erased irreversibly.
5. Information security
We protect information with transit encryption (HTTPS), access controls, audit logs, and infrastructure best practices. We always work to improve our security posture.
